Family Holiday Cottage,
40 Potter Hill, Pickering.
We are able to make available a Family Holiday Cottage in Pickering on a self-catering basis. Many Headway families have used the cottage in the past few years and they were all very pleased with it.
We would like to emphasise that the Cottage is not suitable for those who use wheelchairs or who have difficulty climbing stairs. It is possible to bring one single bed downstairs into the lounge but you will need to do the furniture removing yourselves. There are also several steps from the patio into the small garden at the rear, where there are chairs and a table. The cottage is centrally heated. It is warm, comfortable and well-equipped – but it is not ‘smart’!
The cottage is for use by families who would not usually get a holiday because of low income or other reasons
There are 3 bedrooms sleeping 6 people in total (4 people in single beds and 2 in bunks) – 2 rooms on the first floor and 1 on the second. The top
floor which sleeps two children in large bunks has lots of toys and games. There is one cot with a mattress but no bedding.
