Brain injury can happen to anyone, anywhere, at anytime. In the UK each year, one million people will attend hospital having sustained a head injury of some kind.
A severe head injury can damage the brain and may cause a variety of disabilities.Problems resulting from brain injury may include:-

In 27 months 7,000 HEAD INJURIES were registered at the A&E Department of the Rotherham District General Hospital

Social Meetings
Informal and relaxed meetings for getting together with other people affected by brain injury.

Carers' Support
A carers only monthly support meal, with a friendly and supportive atmosphere. See the Monthly Newsletter for details.
Family Support
Giving guidance to relatives in the early stages of hospitalisation and arriving home for as long as required afterwards.
